How does hitreg and connection work in this game?

More often than not, 50% of my shots don't register even if the person is in point blank range, and when they actually do register, the person I'm shooting doesn't seem to die even though the game told me that i have dealt over 192 dmg.

Here's an example: The "Minic 567 x2" deals 32 damage per shot. So if let's say, i hit 5 out of 6 shots prior to dealing additional damage before-hand, wouldn't they die?

edit: 6 shots from the revolvers deal exactly 192 dmg.

EDIT: Did some testing. Shot the same guy about 3 times at close range with a shotgun, then slashed him about 14~ish times. Didn't die. Hit detection is broken.

It's not broken, this is a "lead" server, which mean the "ping" of the players matters, press tab in game to check the players ping, the lower the number the better because you won't need to lead as much.

For people with high ping, it's more tricky because you need to "predict" where they're going and shot where you think they're going to land.

100 ping is around 1 body length of "lead".

Test with someone with low ping, most of the hits will register just fine.
