New Item: Axium Guardian

My third and probably final katana release (lets face it, we have more than enough of those)
Axium Guardian






Description:
As violent riots broke out, Axium knights were supplied with these weapons deal with enraged and trigger happy crowds. Although heavy ,slow and quickly wear out its wielders stamina, they provide excellent protection against shotguns, explosive and hollow point bullets.
Stats:

Weight: 40
Damage: 18
Delay: 469
AP: +250
HP: -25
Level: 45

Logic: This sword provides heavy defense against weapons that attack armor first, such as shotguns (also explosives i think). The weakness of this weapon is revs and pistols because they do mostly hp damage, and will ignore the armor boost. This is a poor choice of weapons for a sword fight because of negative HP and if you ever tanked you know that hp is more important than AP in sword fights. Also this weapon is very heavy making it difficult to use two primary weapons.

P.S. I am not quite sure how big the AP boost should be, I do not want this to be overpowered or underpowered, so it is mostly like subject to stat change after we get to test it.

I use
Blender 2.62 to create the model
Photoshop CS 5.1 to make the texture
Blender 2.49 to save it as 2.4 format

Then comp uses:
2.49 to convert it to .ELU
GIMP to convert and compress texture to .dds

Then server owner can pack .elu and .dss with mrs packer and put it into the shop.

i see, lawl i suggest you to download extrabrushes for the -photoshop that you have especeially brushes for gradient tools ^.~

Problem is, I cant have large texture maps with detailed illustrations. When making stuff for video games you have to be super minimalist. The texture map should only be a few kb. I will work on it some more to add detail but to be honest you wont even notice things like that in the game.

Here is another screen from the outer facing side.






If anyone feels they can do a better job than me texturing, by all means here is my texture. All you need to do is make sure its under 100kb and the dimensions are a power of 2 (256x256 in this case.
So yeah... I find texturing to be a bitch, if you care to get some work off my shoulders and are better at it than me, then like we say in Russia: "The flag is in your hands"


I put a lot of effort into unwrapping the model so the texture is only 4 pieces. I'm pretty sure you can tell what goes where from the screens.
